Tango Argentinian Steakhouse (Elements)

Just like the dance it’s named after, the food at Tango Elements is bold, feisty, and certainly unafraid to make a statement. This restaurant is a sister to the popular Tango Argentinian Steakhouse, and is already making waves in the Tsim Sha Tsui culinary scene for its delicious nosh and great hospitality.

In true Argentinian tradition, meals are a loud, boisterous affair boasting food meant to be shared with bottles of wine and friends. Sink your teeth into some of the top Argentine beef that is cooked by the eatery’s South American chefs over an open fire grill, imbuing the meats with a wonderful smoky flavour. Appetisers that we’re swooning over include the Octopus Carpaccio, enhanced with a little lemon, black olive powder, and paired with a fresh fennel salad. A number of empanadas, better known as traditional Argentine savory pastries, are up for grabs here. But our favourite stuffing has to be the Carne Empanada, a delicious little pastry pocket filled with a heavenly trio of grounded beef, onions, and olives. Then end the night on a sweet note with the Churros con Chocolate, a fried doughy stick that’s dusted in cinnamon sugar and dipped in a rich chocolate sauce.
